2018 - Worked with Parks and Rec Director to gain approval for pilot program from City Engineer for enhanced pedestrian safety with new in-street signage installations throughout Devou Park's 700-acre recreational area.
2018 - Worked with City leaders, parks and rec staff, and multiple governing boards to launch DevouCycle bike rental which offered adaptive hand cycles, tandem bikes, and other accessible options for riders of all abilities, with Covington residents receiving 50% off rentals.NKyTribune article | River City News coverage

2020 - Worked with community advocates to influence 3CDC to gain approval from Mayor and City of Cincinnati leaders for $2 million initiative which converted temporary outdoor dining spaces and street parking into permanent "streateries" with parklets and expanded sidewalks. 2020 - Led a group of community advocates including Ride The Cov and Yard & Co to gain approval for installation of 600 U-shaped bike racks in Covington. Later, Newport and other NKY cities in the urban core were added to improve bike parking infrastructure. NKyTribune article
2020 - Worked with community advocates including ReNewport, Tri-State Trails, and Yard & Co. to win approval from Newport City Manager and Council for Connect NKY. 2020 - Worked with community advocates and Cincinnati City Council to gain approval for Cincinnati Metro to provide free rides on all buses for Election Day. WCPO article | WVXU coverage
2021 - Worked with community advocates and Price Hill Will to win approval from City of Cincinnati to transform a quarter-mile abandoned stretch of Maryland Avenue into a walking/biking trail connecting Lower and East Price Hill neighborhoods. WCPO feature | Local 12 coverage
2021 - Worked with Community advocates and Cincinnati Department of Transportation to gain approval for 1,000 bike racks and five repair stations to be installed in public right of ways in Cincinnati, significantly expanding secure bike parking citywide. NKyTribune announcement
2021 - Worked with community advocates to have 3CDC work with City of Cincinnati for traffic calming in areas where Streeteries were to be installed. This resulted in the installation of six raised crosswalks on Vine and Main St as well as the pedestrianize of two other streets. WCPO coverage
2021 - Partnered with Findlay Market Corporation on approval from Cincinnati Department of Transportation on installation of 15 automatic FAAC bollards at Findlay Market on Elder and Pleasant Streets. This enhanced security and pedestrian safety improvements with automatic retractable bollards controlling vehicle access at Cincinnati's historic public market.

2022 - Worked with Clifton Town Meeting, community advocates, City of Cincinnati Department of Transportation, and Tri-State Trails to win approval for a mile-long two-way protected bike lane installed from Straight Street to Ludlow Avenue, reducing speeding by 46% while improving cyclist safety. Successfully rallied advocates including Queen City Bike to save the lane from removal and make it permanent after University of Cincinnati initially opposed it, with City Council voting to maintain the infrastructure. WVXU debate coverage
2022 - Worked with Councilmember Mark Jeffreys office to gain approval from CIncinnati Department of Transportation for the installation of curb bump-outs to narrow crossing distances and slow traffic near the Rockdale Academy elementary school for student safety. WVXU coverage | WLWT coverage
2023 - Worked with community advocates including College Hill Community Council to win approval for a road diet reducing four lanes to two, added protected bike lanes, and traffic calming measures resulting in a 90% reduction in reckless speeding over 50mph. Successfully advocated with community to save the project when it faced removal during repaving plans, with over 200 residents voting in April 2024 to keep the safety measures permanent. 2023 - Led community advocates to engage the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), City of Covington, and City of Newport to create a more inspired Fourth Streeet Bridge replacement design, move proposed unprotected bike lanes to wider 12-foot shared-use paths for pedestrians and cyclists, improved alignment of Covington Street grid, implementation of a free shuttle during construction, and elimination of the dangerous slip lane entrance on Garrard Street. 2023 - Advanced a grassroots ballot initiative to gain more voting power for the City of Cincinnati on the regional transportation governing body (OKI). This resulted in OKI granting City of Cincinnati leadership position on OKI decision making board. (It is the first time in 25 years that someone from the City of Cincinnati has been in a leadership position at OKI.) NKY Tribune article

2023 - Successfully advocated with Council Member Mark Jeffreys to redesign the Central Parkway extension from Marshall to Ludlow as an on-street protected bike lane rather than a costly off-street path, saving approximately $1 million while ensuring a connected bike network from Northside and Clifton to Downtown. 2024 - Led statewide pedestrian safety advocates including electeds from Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and MPO employees to influence ODOT to spend $25 million in state-level funding for pedestrian safety projects. 2024 - Led community advocates including ReNewport and Tri-State Trails to win approval for a comprehensive bicycle transportation plan approved and adopted by both Newport and Covington councils. 2024 - Led advocacy with a coalition of 19 organizations including Cincinnati Preservation Association, Civic Cincinnati, Ride the Cov, and Queen City Bike—filing a Title VI civil rights complaint. Advocated for Black, Latino, and low-income communities in Cincinnati's West End and Covington's Lewisburg neighborhoods who would be disproportionately impacted by the $3.6 billion highway expansion through displacement, increased pollution, and severed neighborhood connectivity. The Federal Highway Administration accepted the complaint for investigation in May 2024 (case #2023-0134). The coalition followed up with a federal lawsuit in October 2024 demanding the project halt until environmental impacts are properly studied and transit alternatives are considered. 2024 - Advocated for Northern Kentucky transit system (TANK) to provide free rides to support voter access during the early voting period. Free rides to vote were given for three days and advertised on each bus. WVXU coverage
2025 - Led community advocacy following the death of Gloria San Miguel, who was struck and killed on the 11th Street/Girl Scout Bridge on August 20, 2022, while riding her bike. Worked with friends and family of San Miguel, local businesses including Roebling Point Books & Coffee where she worked, Tri-State Trails, ReNewport, and thousands of petition signers to advocate for protected bike lanes in her memory. Collaborated with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), City of Covington, and City of Newport to transform the bridge from four vehicle lanes to two vehicle lanes with two bike lanes separated by buffers and vertical delineators. 2025 - Led community advocates and business owners (Covington Yard, DBL Law, and Legacy Financial) along 4th St in Covington to advocate KY Transportation Cabinet and Secretary of Transportation Jim Grey to implement traffic calming on 4th St in Covington. 2025 - Worked with neighborhood advocates, city councilmembers, and department of transportation for approval of a raised Crosswalk on Storrs Ave in Lower Price Hill
2026 - Supported neighborhood advocates in Botany Hills to win approval for $200,000 City of Covington grant to install bus bulb outs on Highway Ave and Altamont in Botany Hills, Covington.
