Training: how to talk to your legislators

  • UC Arts and Sciences Building Room 22 2700 Campus Way Cincinnati, OH, 45219 United States (map)

This will be a relaxed training on speaking in front of policymakers, preparing you for exercising your rights to participate in democracy and policy making. We will discuss best practices for public comment, decorum, evidence-based claims, personal experience, and more!

All who wish to learn and practice their public speaking skills are welcome to attend. Training will be lead by Professors Townsend-Small and Hyland.

We’ll meet in the UC School of Environment and Sustainability community space, Room 22 Arts and Sciences Hall, from 1 to 1:50pm on Friday, September 19th.
