The Sustainable Cincy Lending Library is located at CTSD’s Covington office at 409 W. Sixth Street in Mainstrasse Village.

Located at its Covington office at COhatch in Mainstrasse Village (John R. Green Building, Sixth Street Promenade), the Sustainable Cincy Lending Library offers activists and advocates free access to books, tools and other resources that will help bring their community actions to life toward a more sustainable, people-oriented environment in Greater Cincinnati.

The lending library will celebrate its official opening at Sustainable Cincy’s Transit and Sustainability Open House on Thursday, May 29! (Online book and equipment reservations are open now.)

Among the equipment available for rent are traffic counters, data collectors and cameras and other AV equipment for documenting existing traffic conditions in your neighborhood to help build our case for the need for car-alternatives in our communities.

Sustainable Cincy equipment is available through the lending library for three-week rentals (longer upon request and depending on demand/availability), and books are available for indefinite borrowing/swapping.

Handheld camera with remote mic. Usfeul for interviews.

Eco-Counter (Pedestrian)
Eco-Counter (Pedestrian)

For people-counting projects in urban and natural environments. Typically used to count people passing by on trails or sidewalks. Data is automatically uploaded to Sustainable Cincy’s cloud dashboard.

Eco-Counter (Bike + Pedestrian)
Eco-Counter (Bike + Pedestrian)

A mobile bike and pedestrian counter for short-term traffic and mode-share studies. Data is automatically uploaded to the Sustainable Cincy dashboard.

Rode Mics + Receiver
Rode Mics + Receiver

Wireless microphones and receiver. Can be paired with Insta360 Camera and Sony Zv-1 Camera.

CountCam Intersection Camera
CountCam Intersection Camera

Pole-mounted video camera records vehicles by classification, people rolling and walking. Video is manually uploaded to cloud storage for 3rd-party counting. A spreadsheet is delivered as the final output. Typically used for turn counts in intersections.

Insta360 Camera
Insta360 Camera

Camera shoots in 360 degrees. Includes bike mount, backpack mount, and mini tripod. Can be paired with Rode Mic for narration. Useful for narrated video of infrastructure such as bike lanes.

Traffic Counter & Data Collector
Traffic Counter & Data Collector

Records traffic speeds, counts, and vehicle classification. Uploads to cloud storage and after collection data can be analyzed on Sustainable Cincy’s custom dashboard.

Sony ZV-1 Camera
Sony ZV-1 Camera

Camera typically used for live streaming events. Can be paired with Rode microphones and receiver.
